Dry Powder Mixer Applications
Powders can be found everywhere in our daily lives. V-type Powder Mixer Working Principles
The working principle of the V-type powder mixer is to use the asymmetry caused by the different lengths of the two cylinders and mechanical rotation to achieve efficient mixing of materials. When the dry blending machine is running, the materials are continuously decomposed and combined in the cylinder. For every rotation of the cylinder, about 25% of the materials flow from one cylinder to another. At the same time, the radial flow is accompanied, so that the materials are fully mixed in the horizontal and radial directions. The whole process has no dead angle and high mixing efficiency. This dry powder blending equipment is particularly suitable for powder and granular materials with good fluidity.
V-type Powder Mixer Operation and Maintenance
1. Place the V-type powder mixer on a flat, firm surface so that it can run smoothly and efficiently.
2. Before using the powder blender equipment, you should check whether the equipment is normal, whether the mixing barrel cover is tightly closed, and whether there is enough oil in the reducer.
3. Turn on the power, and set the required mixing time. Then turn on the switch, and the dry powder mixer starts to run. Ensure that the machine runs smoothly during operation without abnormal noise or vibration.
4. After the mixing is completed, if the discharge port’s position is not optimal, turn off the power first and adjust the position of the discharge port.
5. You should clean the dry blending equipment after the work is finished. In particular, focus on cleaning the barrel to prevent material residue.
6. Note that when using the dry powder mixer, add materials according to the equipment capacity limit. The material should not exceed 40% of the cylinder limit to avoid affecting the mixing effect.
7. Pay attention to adding enough lubricating oil to the reducer (generally use 30# mechanical oil) and grease the transmission device.
8. You should perform maintenance every six months to check whether the electrical appliances are aging or have poor contact.
9. A comprehensive inspection should be carried out after the machine has been used for more than one year. For example, check the gap between each component and make appropriate adjustments to keep the machine in good condition.
